Alfred Bekker Hand Controls

Brake and Accelerator Hand Control

The push/pull brake and accelerator hand control is one of the most simple yet effective designs on the market. The controls work on the basis of push to brake and pull to accelerate. This product was originally developed by Alfred Bekker Over 30 years ago, and has been widely copied since. Almost all variations by other manufacturers bear striking resemblance to the Alfred Bekker Controls.

Due to our vast array of precision engineering machines in house, we produce all the components required to assemble the hand controls ourselves, this enables us to supply the best quality components on the current market.

The conversion illustrated above also incorporates an indicator switch at the end of the brake accelerator lever.

Right Hand Clutch

The Right Hand Clutch allows a person with a left leg disability to drive a manual vehicle. This is ideal when a certain model of vehicle is not available in an automatic.

To use, squeeze the lever to the wheel using your right hand, change gear with your left hand and then slowly release the lever in your right hand to engage the gear. Follow this method to change up and down the gears.
